About The Role
Our new Mechanical Engineerwill be a practical and safety focused team member who is driven to improve mechanical reliability of our mobile equipment fleet with a “can do attitude”. You will need to apply your skills and experience to improving the reliability of our UG mobile equipment fleet by thorough and considered planning of our preventative maintenance program and project management of our major rebuild and equipment commissioning projects.
Our newMechanical Engineer will have the following key responsibilities:
- Plan all weekly and daily mobile plant maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making
- Improve current maintenance systems to make them more efficient and productive
- Support the Maintenance Foreman in the delivery of safe and professional maintenance services to underground operations.
- Project management our major rebuild and commissioning projects
About You
You will have the following experience, skills and abilities:
- Commitment to safety
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Mechanical Engineering Bachelor or Similar)
- 1 – 2 years of relevant work placement experience
- A level of understanding of mobile plant activities for underground operations
- Experience with relevant software such as maintenance planning packages as well as MS Office suite
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage customer expectations in a positive and constructive way
The Deal
Our new Mechanical Engineer will receive a competitive annual salary plus superannuation.
