At Geomagnetic Design Pty Ltd we are family and family care about each other and want each other to succeed in whatever we do and take on. Our Management Team has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry and is hands on within the company ensuring employees are looked after.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist in the design of mechanical equipment and plant including inspection, maintenance and operation.

·       Assemble, position and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, and hydraulic power systems.

·       Estimate material costs and quantities and machine requirements.

·       Select tools and equipment and oversee its maintenance.

·       Perform and direct field/laboratory/development tests including site investigation.

·       Collect and analyse data or samples, conduct complex computations, and prepare diagrams.

·       Ensure site activities, designs and finished work are compliant with site specific workplace, health and safety practices and environmental management practices.

Skills/Experience/Attributes:

·       Trades qualified.

·       A minimum of three years’ solid industry and technical experience.

·       First aid ticket.

·       Hold a “C” class manual driver’s license.

·       HR License.

·       Police Clearance.

·       Be able to provide leadership, guidance, and direction to crews.

·       Be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.

·       Have the drive to work hard and grow the business in the right direction.

We will offer you:

·        Starting salary of $70,000.00 per annum

·       A permanent role within 6 months (pending final assessment)

·       Superannuation paid as per legislation.

·        PPE Supplied, 

·       Flights to Perth from all major Australian capital cities.
