Mechanical Fitter

All West Engineering is a mining service provider that offers fixed and mobile maintenance, manufacturing and equipment rebuilds for mining clients across Australia.

All West Engineering are seeking experienced and reliable Mechanical Fitters to join our team in Bowen Basin.
Success in the role we see you have a strong work ethic and be committed to always working safely.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance work on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Fabricate and weld steel structures and components.

Requirements:

• Australian recognised trade certification.
• Previous fixed plant shutdown experience in a mining and/or construction environment.
• Current Coal Board Medical (desirable).
• Standard 11 (desirable).
• Confined Space (highly advantageous).
• Working at Heights (highly advantageous).
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• HRWL: Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging (highly advantageous).
