About the Role
WorkPac Recruitment are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter on a 3/1 roster for the Rio Tinto Western Range Project at their Paraburdoo site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The iron ore project includes Greenfields and Brownfields scope with the construction of a new Run of Mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit and modifications to the Coarse Ore Stockpile (COS) and downstream conveying system. You will have previous construction experience within mining, alignment of mechanical equipment, experience in the assembly and alignment of gyratory crushers complete with drives, gearboxes and hydrosets, installation and final alignment of conveyor drives and idler frames.
What You Will Need
2+ years Industrial experience as a Mechanical Fitter
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate- Mechanical Fitting
WA Issued Australian C Class Manual Drivers Licence
Working at Heights- desirable
First Aid- desirable
EWP and HRWL- desirable
Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
High Risk Work License with WP
