Premier People are looking for trade qualified, experienced Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers for our various mine sites across Western Australia.
As a Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker you will undertake planned maintenance, shutdown and ongoing roster work on fixed plant mining equipment, including but not limited to, crushers, conveyors, chutes, screens, bins, feeders, and many other areas of the fixed plant.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following:
Compulsory
- Australian Trade Certificate/Recognition
- White Card
- Valid WA Driver’s License
- Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D)
- Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D)
- Gas Testing Atmospheres (RIIWHS202E)
- Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment (CPPFE2005)
- First Aid and CPR
Preferred
- Previous experience working within the mining industry
- High Risk Work License
- MSIC Card
