Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. This newly constructed mine site boasts a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years. Making it one of Australia’s largest and lowest cost gold mining operations.
Role Details:
Reporting to the Leading Hand, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of the site supporting services facilities (borefields and associated infrastructure) and other areas of the operation as required.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

About the role:
Complete scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment;
Report all safety and environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns and potential plant or equipment stoppages;
Support the efficient performance of site support service facilities by providing reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge, expertise and practical application, to minimise down time;
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout workshops and wherever maintenance works is carried out.
About you:
Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
Australian recognised Plumbing Trade Certificate (Essential)
2 - 5 years experience workikng within DeWatering project work
Manual HR Drivers Licence
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
Proven mechanical maintenance experience of a mineral processing plant, borefields maintenance, and/or water treatment plants
Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
