Description
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repair tasks on various industrial equipment and systems.
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical components such as pumps, compressors, valves, and piping systems.
- Conduct precision measurements, alignments, and adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications to execute maintenance tasks accurately.
- Utilize hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries during shutdown activities.
Profile
- technical training in mechanical maintenance, pipefitting, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance fitter or technician in an industrial setting, with specific experience in shutdown or turnaround maintenance activities.
