The Company
Our client specializes in rotational engineering components, rotational engineering workshop and site services, reliability services along with technical design and failure analysis engineering.
The Role
Our client is currently seeking a number of Mechanical Fitters to cover the following responsibilities:
- Repairing and rebuilding of an extensive range of pumps for their diverse client base
- Repairing and rebuilding of an extensive range of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Repairing and rebuilding of an extensive range of mechanical components using manual lathes, mills and boring equipment.
Key Competencies
- Qualification in Mechanical Fitting
- Experience in pumps
- Recent experience in a heavy industrial environment in the areas referred to above
- Ability to interpret technical drawings & schematics, and complete detailed inspection & QA reports
- Ability to travel outside metropolitan area (occasionally)
Desirable Qualities
- Current Dogging, Rigging, Forklift and confined space tickets
- Electrical license
- Manual drivers license
- Current or able to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Immediate start available
