Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembly projects, working with gas pipes, setting up cremators, and handling ducts and inducts. This role requires hands-on experience with various machinery and the ability to work with custom builds.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble projects according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Work with ducts and inducts for various projects.
- Operate specific machinery including lathes, mills, and plate rollers.
- Work with hydraulics and perform welding tasks.
- Handle and troubleshoot heavy machinery.
- Collaborate with boilermakers and other site workers.
- Think outside the box to develop solutions for custom builds.
- Plan ahead to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.
- Proficiency in using lathes, mills, and plate rollers.
- Skilled in hydraulics and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to think creatively and develop custom solutions.
