Positions availible for Mechanical Fitters and Trade Assistant's on a high-profile, navy ship and off shore patrol vessel project.
Rate:
- Mechanical Fitters - $56.69/hr + Penalties
- Trade Assistants - $47.68/hr + Penalties
- Base rate first 7.2 hrs + time and a half next 2 hrs + double time all additional hours
Hours + Location:
- Henderson Site (Must live in Perth)
- 49-hour weeks
- Mon - Thurs 5:50am - 4.20pm, Friday knock off at 3.20 pm
- Saturday Shifts (optional) 6 to 8 hours extra!
Project Duration/Start Dates:
- 5 year project
- 10-hour days Mon-Fri (Opportunity for Saturdays when there is an overflow of work)
- All new starts will be on a Monday

Essential Criteria
TA:
- Proven experience assisting trades (Mechanical fitters, Boilermakers, Welders)
- Previous experience in rigging highly advantageous
- Australian work rights, Confined Space (or willing to obtain), White card and Police Clearance
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
Mechanical Fitter:
- Proven experience as a mechanical fitter - Install, troubleshooting, fabrication, interpreting and documenting
- Ensuring proper function of various mechanical systems
- Certificate III Mechanical Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting)
- Australian work rights, Confined Space (or willing to obtain), White card and Police Clearance
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
