SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Readiness Specialist for an Owners team vacancy working on multiple operational projects. This is a Perth based role, 40 hour week, 6-month contract and offers an attractive daily rate.
Reporting directly to the Operational Readiness Superintendent, the Maintenance Readiness Specialist assumes the critical responsibility of supporting the project delivery team and collaborating with asset owners.
Your Responsibilities:
- Working closely with project delivery team to understand scope, schedule and budget ensuring all relevant project data is available at the appropriate time. e.g. IOM, Equipment registers, Datasheets, P&ID's, etc
- Working closely with the asset owners to ensure a clear view on which operational readiness activities will be delivered, facilitating, and coordinating any gaps identified and providing frequent progress updates until handover.
- Working closely with support functions e.g. Maintenance Systems, NPI & Water Management, Engineering and Asset Management & Reliability to ensure adherence and compliance to corporate standards and guidelines.
- Conducting spares management tasks such as criticality assessments, cataloguing, inventory management in collaboration with the asset owners and central Asset Management team enduring compliance with operating & maintenance philosophies.
- Create / update SAP Function locations, Equipment masters, BOM’s, maintenance plans, maintenance items, tasklist, etc
- Trade Qualification
- Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) experience
- Maintenance planning experience
- Understanding of Operational Readiness Fundamentals
- Advanced SAP Plant Maintenance master data experience (+5 years)
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems processes (+5 years)
- Mining industry experience
- Advanced in MS Office tools
