Mechanical / Pipe Fitter - Water Treatment Facility

Randstad are currently seeking multiple mechanical/ Pipe Fitters for a Sydney Water project based in Luddenham NSW. Successful applicants will be tasked with the installation of a new build Water Treatment facility aiding in the development of the new Western Sydney Airport metro facilities.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Installation of mechanical equipment and, mechanical/ pneumatic valves, pumps & pump sets, variable speed drives, chemical dosing pumps & chemical dosing systems.
• Set up and verification of analytical instrumentation,
• The planning & completion of FAT's (factory acceptance testing), SAT's (site acceptance testing), mechanical planning, completion, verification and reporting of commissioning activities of the designated project.
• Undertaking checks and verification activities to ensure the project is commissioned in accordance with contract specifications, design and contractual requirements and undertake completion activities required for delivery and handover of the project.

• Previous Water Treatment Facility installation or large infrastructure project experience is highly regarded
• Be experienced in critical analysis of work processes and procedures and be able to identify and implement improvements.
• Have commissioning, fault-finding experience and essential process experience.
• Be organised, decisive, proactive, and determined in setting and achieving targets.
• Be able to build strong and collaborative relationships working with all stakeholders

The following licences are also beneficial or required:

• Telehandler Gold Card - preferable
• Rigger's tickets (basic or advanced) - preferable
• Confined Space Entry - preferable
• Working At Heights - required

On Offer?

• Day shift - 7am to 5pm
• 10hr days with OT and Weekends where required
• Daily Travel and Meal Allowances
• $52/hr pay rate + Penalties
