VIPAC Engineers & Scientists is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy established for 50 years and employing over 100 engineers nationally.
We are seeking a junior mechanical engineer to join our team in the Adelaide office.
The role requires supporting our team of Senior Engineers with site work (vibration and acoustic data collection) and office-based work (reporting and analysis)
Responsibilities will include:
- Work on acoustics and vibration projects under supervision and guidance of our senior consultants.
- Undertake site noise and vibration assessments using appropriate instrumentation and methods. Training will be provided.
- Use modelling software to predict noise levels and assess mitigation strategies.
- Design acoustic and vibration solutions.
- Write technical reports and liaise with clients.

- Degree level qualification in engineering or physics.
- A motivated self-starter with enthusiasm to learn and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

- Strong communication and client liaison skills.
- Competent report writing skills.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
- Driver’s license
