As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. Your responsibilities will include designing, planning, and executing projects while ensuring they meet quality, safety, and budgetary requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate project progress, and contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Position Summary:
- Design and Planning: Develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and project plans for mechanical systems, components, and equipment from initiation to commissioning.
- Project Management: Lead project execution, monitor progress, and manage resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct quality checks and inspections.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, stakeholders, and contractors to achieve project goals.
- Budget Control: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Witness and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) as required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
