United Fluid Power is seeking a Mechanical Tradesperson to join their South West Team. Applicants from Perth, Peel and the South West are encouraged to apply.
The role is predominantly based around the Pinjarra region and involves working around various local mine sites and refineries. The opportunity for the right candidate involves working autonomously, therefore we're looking for a motivated self-starter who possesses a strong commitment to company values and safety.
The position involves condition monitoring and maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical systems, including trouble shooting and the provision of technical solutions. From day to day, you will be presented with a diverse scope of work that will spark the interests of a passionate hydraulic specialist looking to put their skill set on display, or make it the perfect training ground for a mechanical tradesperson looking to diversify. All our site-based roles are supported by a team of Technical Support Managers with a wealth of experience who are on call to provide assistance where needed.
A mechanical trade is a prerequisite, with experience in fixed or mobile plant hydraulic system maintenance, condition monitoring, instrumentation tubing and complex mechanical fitting all well regarded. Mechanical technicians with basic hydraulic experience are also encouraged to apply, where on the job training will be provided to work towards advancing their capabilities in a specialist skill set.
A package will be offered to the successful applicant including a competitive base hourly rate, dual cab company service vehicle, phone allowance and laptop. Mobilisations to / from client assets is also covered when working on billable jobs.
