We have a new opportunity for talented Diesel Mechanics to join our team in our modern, state of the art facility in Hume located in Canberra ACT. Relocating to Canberra presents an opportunity to experience a high quality of life, a strong sense of community and a family friendly environment, in a city voted as one of the most livable in the world. Our team specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across high horse power mining, on-highway trucks, industrial and power generation applications.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Deliver a first-class service to our customers.
- Complete service, repair and maintenance of heavy diesel products in our workshop
- Support engine rebuilds.
- Possess a ‘can do’ attitude and work as part of a team
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Australian recognised Trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle)
- Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Marine, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive above award hourly rate + rate paid as a permanent salary
- Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
- $5,000 sign on bonus
