Mechanical Trade Assistant / Forklift Operator | Assemble Big Mining Equipment

• $35/hr + Penalties + Super 
• Working with some really cool large scale mining equipment, assembling and installation opportunities
• Will train you up working on a range of equipment and electrical components 

Join a leader in mining equipment solutions who manufacture and supply water evaporation and underground ventialtion to the mining industry across Australia. 
They are now looking for an experienced Trade Assistant to join their team in Singleton assisting the team of Mechanical Fitters to assemble the equipment. 

About the job: 

• Utilising mechanical skills to support the assembly of power boards
• Quality checks of equipment
• Maintaining work areas and equipment, safe of potential hazards and safety risks
• Storing materials correctly 
• Assembly of goods and support the team of FItters

About you: 

• Prior Trade Assistant experience is essential 
• Electrical background is preferred but not essential, they are happy to train
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced environment
• A team-player who works effectively with others and self-motivated when working autonomously
• Valid drivers licence (preferred)

What's on Offer:

• Base Hourly | Pay Rate $35/hr
• Overtime 1.5 | Pay Rate $49/hr first 2 hrs after 7.6 per day
• Overtime 2.0 | Pay Rate $63/hr - Any hours worked after 9.6 per day
• 7am - 3:30pm - Monday - Friday with the opportunity for overtime starting at 6am
