We are looking for a bright, energised Account Manager to join our team, working on a range of clients in automotive and finance, with opportunity for expansion to other areas. You'll have a love of great client service, solid digital expertise and a desire to grow and learn, at pace.

This is an opportunity to work in a highly integrated agency, collaborating heavily with creative teams to create truly holistic & innovative campaigns that deliver real and meaningful results for clients.

What you will need to bring to the table

  • A deep understanding of marketing, communications and media fundamentals. What works, how it works best and why.
  • Experience in cultivating great client relationships in a client management role, delivering exceptional service, media strategy and implementational planning work.
  • Strong applied investment background (you might have once been an investment specialist or digital manager) and so can lead a support team effectively to deliver implementation excellence.
  • Holistic channel experience - digital, OOH, Radio are critical- you will have worked / had exposure across all channels and understand a full got-to-market solution.
  • Finance and admin excellence - you'll appreciate that this detail is important for clients and to operate our business effectively, and therefore have a strong attention to detail and understanding of client financial management.
  • Natural interest and understanding of people, behaviours, decision making etc. You will talk to your audience target to understand their real drivers and apply to your work.
  • Experience in using a range of media/communications tools (e.g. Roy Morgan)
  • The ability to create and strongly deliver a well structured, persuasive and interesting presentation
  • 3-4 years experience minimum

The Nuts and Bolts Job Description
Key Tasks:

  • Media planning & implementation across digital partnerships (you'll have digital specialists for performance), radio, OOH and other channels as required. This includes everything from presenting a recommendation to a client to buying and campaign reporting on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of your client's category to have an enhanced understanding of their communication needs.
  • Ensuring that the campaign is informed by genuine insights and delivers on key objectives.
  • Educating the team and clients about the latest developments in media.
  • Generating appropriate reporting (competitive, performance tracking, budget reporting, contract management, marketplace trends). Ensure reporting is actionable and insightful, and that they report on set strategy/objectives
  • Working on new business pitches where required.
  • Manage the project timeline and workload for each campaign.
  • Directly responsible for financial management of clients campaigns.
  • Guide and develop junior staff members in your team, sharing your knowledge, mentoring, and overall fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Take an active role in assisting agency media operations to ensure & equip the team to be able to deliver excellence across all components of their recommendations, plans and management of client activity
  • Reporting across all channels, with meaningful insights that inform business decisions
  • Liaise with media partners to establish and maintain strong alliances with sales management
  • Ensure key updates are shared with Media teams, Creative teams, Strategy teams as required
  • Administrative and financial management and accountability


Finance, admin & reporting

  • Manage the preparation of client documentation and financial reconciliation for social campaigns
  • Managing the media bookings and supplier invoices including managing budget forecasting and account queries.
  • Monitor client expenditure versus campaign MBA
  • Approve and analyse all client account queries and ensure these are answered within agency guidelines.
  • Ensure that activity, that is personally booked, is loaded into financial systems accurately
  • Ultimately responsible for managing the accurate and timely delivery of media reporting
