About the Role:
We're on the lookout for a vibrant, energetic individual to join our team in a pivotal role. As a Media Executive, you'll be at the heart of our operations, providing essential support across all administrative aspects of the agency.
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of media campaigns, ensuring the smooth flow of information and timely execution of deliverables. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, clients, and media suppliers to achieve campaign objectives and maximize the effectiveness of media investments across various media touchpoints.
Ideally, the successful candidate will also have experience in social media management as we would like to find someone capable of implementing a social strategy for the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing media plans based on client objectives, target audience, and budgets.
- Prepare agency presentations, detailed media plans, material instructions & reports.
- Collaborate to execute media strategies across multiple channels, such as television, radio, print, out of home, digital & social media.
- Coordinate the implementation of media campaigns, including the creation and delivery of media schedules, insertion orders, and creative assets.
- Communicate with agency media suppliers to secure inventory, and track campaign performance.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance data, providing regular reports and insights to internal teams and clients.
- Assist in managing budgets and ensuring accurate financial tracking and billing for media campaigns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging media channels, and new technologies to provide innovative recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure the timely delivery of creative assets and alignment with media plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience (1-3 years) in a media planning, buying, or co-ordination role within an advertising agency or media organization is preferred.
- Knowledge of various media channels, advertising principles, and campaign management processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and media suppliers.
- Proficiency in using Mac & Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Keynote, Numbers) for data analysis and report creation.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in work.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and industry trends.
