About the role
Assist in the provision of service delivery in the Medical Imaging Department
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Assist radiographers, radiologists, nursing and administration staff in providing a Medical Imaging service.
- Liaise with staff in wards and Medical Imaging to coordinate examination times and workflow.
- Coordinate Operational staff in daily workflow of patients from wards to the department for imaging.
- Assist with patient preparation and care required for Medical Imaging examinations.
- Escort patients to and from examination rooms and assist with patient transfer.
- Assist with the care, cleaning and set up of Medical Imaging equipment and examination rooms.
- Maintain required stocks of consumable items in clinical areas.
