Medical Imaging Nurse

At Baw Baw Radiology, we are committed to providing a premium and professional service to the local community in Gippsland.

We are part of the Imaging Associates network, and have a well-established clinic in Drouin, with a new state-of-the-art clinic in Warragul which has just opened.

As we grow, we are seeking a patient-focused Medical Imaging Nurse to become an integral part of this exciting and significant phase of our business journey.

What will you be doing?

Based at our Drouin clinic, you will provide excellence in patient care and join a friendly, experienced, and supportive team.

You will be central to supporting our onsite Radiologist throughout the day. You will also work collaboratively with our technical and administrative staff to efficiently perform Medical Imaging procedures within General X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI.

This role is fast-paced and requires a confident practice nurse who values a busy workday, alongside a great work-life balance of working within a private practice.  You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with patients and put them at ease.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 1 day per week, between our operating hours of 8am and 6pm, with the opportunity to be considered for additional leave coverage and increased working hours with the upcoming growth of our Warragul clinic.

What are we looking for?

To be successful, you will need to have:

• Registered Nursing qualifications and current AHPRA registration
• Current CPR Certification
• Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

MUST be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
