Fixed Term Full Time Position - 2024/2025 Clinical Year (2 Year contract for PGY 1 and PGY 2 Years).
76 Hours per fortnight
(35 Positions Available - to be split between VRPA & Non-VRPA positions)

About the role
The Internship provides the opportunity to consolidate and build on theoretical knowledge gained as a student and apply it in caring for patients. The Intern year is structured to enable the individual to develop specific skills in the delivery of clinical care to prepare him/her for a future medical career. Consistent with this, the Intern will undertake core rotations in general medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine during this year, with each rotation having defined goals and objectives for the Intern to achieve.

Prior to commencement, all successful candidates must have obtained provisional registration with AHPRA.
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask. Additional PPE requirements are role-dependent.
