The role
Reporting into the Business Development and Sales Manager - Revenue as a Medical Liaison Officer, you act as the bridge between the business and healthcare professionals. You are responsible for delivering revenue growth and promoting the services of the Imaging businesses to a defined area of local referrers. This is to be achieved through taking a targeted approach to the market, driving strategic marketing and sales initiatives, and managing new and existing referrers whilst communicating and collaborating with all internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop current referrer relationships, whilst delivering on current marketing strategies
- Act as the first point of contact for referrer matters with a customer-focused attitude
- Resolve and/or escalate referrer issues or complaints as they arise
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan and deliver revenue on growth strategies
- Increase revenue to assigned territory in line with the budget expectations
- Identify new customer opportunities and develop relationships to gain new referrers
- Increase referrer base in line with predefined KPIs
- Maintain ongoing competitor and market analysis
- Achieve revenue targets via the implementation of revenue growth strategies
Role Competencies
- Current Drivers Licence is essential
- Qualification in a Health Science, Business, Sales, or Medical Terminology is desirable but not essential
- Recent graduate or industry background is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated sales experience with a history of achieving sales targets, preferably in healthcare is desirable but not essential
- Proficient computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and CRM tools (Salesforce) is desirable but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to referring practitioners is essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills is essential
