An opportunity is currently available for an experienced Sales/Account Manager to join our team as Medical Liaison Officer for North Queensland Region.

Reporting into the Business Development and Sales Manager, the Medical Liaison Officer will be responsible for promoting pathology services to clinicians across their respective areas. You'll be playing an important role helping in the execution of our revenue strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development and Sales Manager with the implementation of the Pathology Revenue strategies
  • Relationship building with existing and new clients to ensure support, effective issue resolution and successful marketing activities.
  • Active participation in revenue focused campaigns, to generate and maintain set revenue targets
  • Maintain effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge with promotional materials, services aligning with clients need.
  • Gather intelligence of target market, provide insights on market changes
  • Attending marketing conferences and events
  • On boarding of new referrers (eg, GPs, specialists, vet etc)

About You

  • A customer focused attitude with passion for successful sales activities
  • Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise
  • A proactive approach, self-initiative to work both autonomously and in a team
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism.
