AddressDoncaster Medical Centre and Blackburn South Medical Centre are high-quality mixed billing family Medical Practices located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Medical Receptionist who can fit into our culture of kindness and professionalism and be able to help support our busy clinics.
This position will best suit a candidate who is flexible to work 3-4 days per week at both locations and be available to cover staff leave as required.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 2 years medical reception, or relevant experience.
- Be able to work well in a team of clinical & administrative staff
- Preferably have knowledge of Best Practice
- Thrive in a busy environment
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be flexible and able to work in two locations
Duties including but not limited to:
- Triage and welcoming patients
- Booking appointments, answering telephone calls and enquiries
- Patient billing (Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, Private)
- General Administrative duties
- Opening and/or closing of the practice
- Setting up Doctors rooms as required
Work closely with Doctors, Nurses and onsite Allied Health
