A busy gastroenterology practice established in Armadale by three female doctors who believe in a collaborative approach for patients with gastrointestinal diseases.
We are looking for someone part-time, set days Monday, Tuesday + Thursday 9am-5pm; a fourth set day typing to be discussed. You are not required to work overtime, even if the the Dr's are running behind! We are after someone who is flexible with covering the other two weekdays, and primarily to help with typing.
The Medical Receptionist +/- Typist shares the front desk responsibilities and will provide professional front of house service (and answering phones remotely) to all doctors, patients and visitors. This job is primarily in clinic, typing can be done remotely
- Diary management
- Run consulting sessions - greet patients, answer phones, make appointments
- Arrange theatre lists
- Liaise with GPs, hospitals and referring specialists
- Patient billing, consulting accounts
- Must be proficient at typing (role will include some typing of dictation from Doctors)
About You:
You will bring the following skills to the team:
- Experience in a medical practice, preferably using Genie
- Excellent phone manner
- Fastidious attention to detail
- Fast learner
- Professional, friendly and discrete attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the practice.
- Typing expertise
