Medical Receptionist

We are a busy and fast expanding Medical Specialist Practice in Joondalup & have a dynamic team always prioritising patient care & comfort.

We are seeking Part-Time or Full Time Receptionists who align with our values and are focused on providing a high-quality experience for our patients.

Full-Time receptionists will be required to work 5 Full Days from Monday through to Friday.

Part-Time receptionists will be required to work 2 to 3 Full Days per week plus able to cover for sick leave and annual leave.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Committed to patient care and satisfaction
• Ability to work both independently with initiative and as part of a team
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Enthusiasm to grow and develop with the practice
• Computer literate, knowledge of office software packages eg Word, Excel
• Good keyboard skills
• Mature with a professional attitude
• Ability to cope in extremely busy clinic and multi-task.
• Part-time staff must be able to cover for sick leave and annual leave.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous health industry experience
• At least 2–4 years of experience in a reception role
• Experience with Genie software desirable but not required

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

• Provide high quality reception services to patients in a caring and supportive manner
• Scheduling appointments
• Entering patient information
• Booking patient surgeries
• Medical typing as required
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Preparation of consulting rooms and general housekeeping duties
• Liaise with medical and non-medical staff, other consultants and GP's in relation to bookings and reports
• Filing
• Patient billing
• General office errands
• Ordering stationery & medical supplies
• Any other administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager
