Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: The Medical Scientist in charge:

  • Manages complex and specialised production activities in the manufacture of diverse medicines for human use that are based on genes, tissues or cells in accordance with TGA, FACT, OGTR and NATA regulatory requirements.
  • Is an expert in GMP manufacturing, providing hands-on technical leadership and operational oversight for the CTTWA cleanroom facility.
  • Manages production staff, providing initial and ongoing training and maintaining team competency compliance.
  • Manages the production schedule and daily tasks.
  • Provides oversight related to training materials, SOPs, batch records, reports, risk assessments, materials management, etc.
  • Works closely with the Facility Director to implement new projects and assist in the development of new processes and methods.
