About the Role
Moreton Group Medical Services are seeking applications for casual Medical Support Officers to work in our non-emergency patient transport and events teams. This opportunity is an excellent introduction to non-acute healthcare for those considering or working towards a career in nursing or paramedicine.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Perform high-quality patient care and treatment on-road.
- Accurate assessment and documentation.
- Work autonomously utilising your experience and the established policies and procedures.
- Operation of a fleet vehicle.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Use of digital communication systems.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport (HLT3115), Registered Nurse,
- Enrolled Nurse, Registered Paramedic
OR
- Studying Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) and completed the second Professional Experience Placement
OR
- Studying Bachelor of Nursing (have completed second Professional Experience placement if undertaking Utas fast track program or have completed Year 2, Semester 1 Professional Experience Placement with any university).
OR
- Studying Bachelor of Paramedicine and completed Year 1, Semester 2.
Licences and Checks
- Full Australian Drivers Licence.
- Working with Vulnerable People.
- National Police Check (no more than 12 months old).
Mandatory vaccinations:
- Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis
- Varicella.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella.
- Hepatitis B.
- Covid-19.
- Influenza.
