Key leadership role of a large high performing team integral to the delivery of Penske Australia's growth strategy. Our Branch Manager will actively promote a highly engaged and safe workplace, advance our customer service experience, and achieve key business results.
Penske Australia distributes and retails sales, service and parts for Western Star, MAN, Dennis Eagle, MTU, Detroit & Allison. we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced operational professional to join our team as Branch Manager in our Melbourne location.
As a proven leader you will work with a supportive team of colleagues in a growing operation. The Penske Melbourne branch is one of most diverse operations, delivering both retail service work and large-scale energy solutions projects. You will provide superior leadership to the Melbourne team to continue safe and efficient operations within the branch. The role encompasses business operations inclusive of, on and off-highway service (workshop and field), front counter parts sales and , together with aftersales for engine and transmission markets in Energy Solutions, Marine, Rail, Mining & Defence.

In this role you will:
- Lead a safe and highly engaged work culture closely aligned to Penske Australia's values
- Lead the branch to achieve and exceed agreed sales, profitability, expense, stock and debtor targets
- Lead, coach and motivate employees to achieve branch goals and develop their Penske careers
- Develop and maintain key customer accounts with a focus on sales for On & Off-Highway markets
- Implement strategies that enhance the customer service experience
- Develop and implement operational business improvement initiatives
About you:
- Demonstrated successful operational leadership experience (essential)
- Technical or business qualifications (preferred) with strong commercial acumen
- Have excellent people management skills, with ability to lead and engage employees
- Self-motivated to meet and exceed business targets
- A track record of sales and business development experience, with exceptional analytical and strategic capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- A strong knowledge of Penske's products and service
