The Role

Our boutique superannuation fund is going through some pretty exciting times, and due to internal promotions, we're looking for 2 Member Account Specialist (1x permanent, 1x 8-month fixed term with potential to be permanent) to help grow member numbers and funds under management by executing business-to-customer (B2C) sales strategies. This includes promoting and selling Brighter Super to prospective and existing members through tailored and relevant phone, virtual and face-to-face sales activity.
How you'll make a difference
Working as part of a fun, energetic and high-performing team, you’ll report to the Manager Member Growth, and succeed by:
- Delivering activities that lead to membership growth and retention of an assigned portfolio of members, usually in key geographic locations (assigned regions - most often in Queensland),
- Delivering the Workplace Services Program that includes group presentations, workshops and one-on-one consultations aiming to increase member retention and converting growth opportunities in the form of increased member numbers, Funds Under Management (FUM) acquisition, advice referrals and pension conversions,
- Being responsible for designing and delivering targeted face-to-face and virtual workplace member engagement and sales,
- This includes delivery of Super Health Checks, webinars, seminars, toolboxes, event attendance and general promotion of the fund through all activity undertaken.
- Contributing to creation of sales and service plans for your assigned region along with other resources aligned to your region,
- Attending member and fund-based events at employer sites or key locations within your assigned region; presenting content to our members
- Identifying and targeting members who have an advice need; and delivering a regular flow of paid and non-paid advice referrals to our Advisers.
What you'll bring
As a sales and relationships specialist with the initiative, drive and motivation to provide an exceptional level of customer service, you’ll be sales-minded, approachable, adaptable and flexible.
Our ideal candidate:

Importantly, they’ll bring:
- 1 - 3+ years’ experience in sales, customer service or relationship management, ideally within the superannuation industry
- RG 146 certification
- ability to travel regularly, including some out-of-business hours work.
- proven ability in utilising exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- effective listening skills with the ability to understand and analyse client needs.
- self-discipline and exceptional organisational skills.
- well-developed presentation skills.
