The Opportunity
As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing and nurturing relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, anticipate their needs, and identify opportunities to enhance the value of our products/services. By serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for our clients, you will play a critical role in driving customer success and maximizing revenue potential. Specifically, you will:
- Actively drive Network & Back to Base Fuel solutions sales and the recruitment of new accounts
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned client accounts
- Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with clients to review performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and customer support to deliver exceptional service and value to clients
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives, industry challenges, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for strategic partnership and growth
- Proactively identify and address any potential risks or challenges that may impact client satisfaction or retention
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to clients to communicate performance metrics, project updates, and strategic recommendations
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide clients with insights and recommendations for optimization and growth
The Person
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop and grow relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- High levels of self-motivation and initiative
- Capacity for informed decision making and problem solving
- Experience within the fuel industry is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies and plans
- Demonstrated ability in achieving sales targets and growth
- Ability to work collaboratively both in a team environment and as a self-starter
- Strong CRM and relation business management IT skills eg. Zoho, Microsoft Office Suite
