Position:Member and Sponsor Engagement Manager

Location: Our office is based in Hurstville NSW. 

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as our Member and Sponsor Engagement Manager. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional capable of effectively balancing the interests of our members with the needs of our association's sponsors. The successful candidate will play a central role in expanding and enriching both our membership base and Sponsor network, with occasional travel to regional NSW and interstate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance member engagement and retention.
• Manage membership databases, creating and overseeing member acquisition initiatives, and executing targeted campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of sponsorship objectives with member needs and association goals.
• Act as a liaison between members and Sponsors, addressing concerns and facilitating productive interactions.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential trade sponsors, negotiating mutually beneficial partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A deep understanding of the club industry, including its culture, operations, and challenges is highly regarded as is exposure to the wider hospitality industry
• Proficiency in managing membership databases and executing membership acquisition strategies, with demonstrated experience in CRM database management.
• Proven experience in negotiating and servicing trade sponsors, with a track record of delivering tangible results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• A professional and positive demeanour, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.
• High level of computer skills competency
• Must possess a current driver's license.
• Tertiary qualifications in business development and at least 5 years experience in a similar role is desirable
