They achieve this by offering a range of services including administering a severance and redundancy scheme, facilitating income protection insurance and offering confidential counselling services.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling incoming requests from members and employers.
- Timely processing and follow up of claims, including checking forms for accuracy and following up with members as required.
- Opening and closing member accounts as required and assessing claim eligibility.
- Linking new members or entering termination dates on to the system ensuring accurate information is being entered at all times.
- Contacting employers to request any additional/clarification of information as required in order to allocate contribution returns (member details, change of category date, termination dates, commencement dates etc.)
- Some accounts knowledge is advantageous and the ability to reconcile accounts.
- Experience working in a call centre, service industry or member-based organisation is desirable.
- Intermediate level Word, Excel and use of internet browsers.
