Member Services Officer

Join a Insurance organisation who's primary focus is to support their members. This small organisation is passionate about their staff, members and members families. Join a small team, where your day will include a mix of customer service, administration, accounts and claims paperwork.
This is a unique opportunity to join a member focused organisation who is passionate about supporting their members, member employers and member's families during any period of unemployment, illness, injury or personal difficulty. They achieve this by offering a range of services including administering a severance and redundancy scheme, facilitating income protection insurance and offering confidential counselling services.
Key responsibilities:

• Handling incoming requests from members and employers.
• Timely processing and follow up of claims, including checking forms for accuracy and following up with members as required.
• Opening and closing member accounts as required and assessing claim eligibility.
• Linking new members or entering termination dates on to the system ensuring accurate information is being entered at all times.
• Contacting employers to request any additional/clarification of information as required in order to allocate contribution returns (member details, change of category date, termination dates, commencement dates etc.)

What we are looking for:

• Some accounts knowledge is advantageous and the ability to reconcile accounts.
• Experience working in a call centre, service industry or member-based organisation is desirable.
• Intermediate level Word, Excel and use of internet browsers.
• Team work driven individual
• Motivated and driven experienced professional.
