KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct clinical assessments and formulate treatment plans for individuals with moderate, severe, and complex difficulties.
- Develop practical risk management plans, including crisis intervention, through thorough risk assessments.
- Deliver individualised, evidence-based psychological interventions while incorporating family and significant others.
- Actively engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, building strong relationships with external stakeholders and maintaining high-quality client records.
- Participate in continuous clinical quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of the Head to Hub model of practice.
Essential:
- Approved tertiary qualifications in psychology and AHPRA registration.
- Skills and experience in evidence-based psychological treatments, risk assessments, and crisis intervention.
- Strong networks and knowledge of local support services and the Mental Health system.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and decision-making skills, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Specialist training in severe Mental Health disorders.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record software, preferably Profile.
- Experience working with diverse groups, such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
- Experience in group-based therapy/interventions.
- Doctoral or Masters level qualifications.
