As our Mental Health Clinician you will provide contemporary, evidence based psychological support services to young people accessing the service. This role reports to the Clinical Lead and is a full time permanent contract at an established centre.

The headspace intake team will undertake a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of all young people prior to referral to our Mental Health Clinicians. A range of on-site complementary services are available should additional supports be required, including Alcohol and Other Drug counselling, Vocational and Educational support, reproductive and sexual healthcare and group programs. The headspace team will work in partnership with Mental Health Clinicians to provide a comprehensive, wrap-around service for young people.
What you bring:
You will have experience working with Mental Health and well-being across a broad client base, leading to the provision of inclusive and high-quality therapeutic services, with a recovery and strengths-based focus. Experience working with young people and theirfamilies is highly desirable.
Key Requirements
- Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists and Nurses must hold full registration with AHPRA
- Social Workers must be Mental Health Accredited with the AASW
- Occupational Therapists must have Better Access to Mental Health endorsement from OT Australia
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to hold one.
- Undergo a current and satisfactory Police Check.?
