Job description

Beenleigh Adult Mental Health Team are looking for a Mental Health Clinician - Clinical Nurse to join their team to provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of Mental Health patients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.

About the Role
• The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering quality nursing care at an advanced level that requires a broad developing knowledge in professional issues for consumers who experience psychotic related disorders. 
• The Clinical Nurse promotes professional standards of practice and conduct and is responsible for achievement of unit goals and standards utilising contemporary evidence-based interventions. 
• The Clinical nurse is responsible for the physical health care monitoring and interventions for their allocated consumers and supports the multidisciplinary team in the monitoring of physical health care needs.
• The position provides a contact and a source of professional advice for care providers and other relevant clinical stakeholders on Mental Health service delivery, comprehensive assessments, risk management and Mental Health Act 2016 legislation.
