The Acute Care Team (ACT) is the first point of contact for anyone who may be worried about their Mental Health or the Mental Health of someone close to them. This team works with people who are 18 years of age and older. The team also runs West Moreton Health’s 24/7 Mental Health support line.

About the role
Mental Health Clinician
The role of Mental Health Clinician - Senior conducts triage, Mental Health assessment, short term treatment and recovery support to consumers accessing health services for acute Mental Health issues at an entry point to the Mental Health service of West Moreton Health. The Mental Health Clinical - Senior also collaborates with others to provide clinical leadership by offering advice on assessment, treatment options and risk management as required.
HP4 - $124,435 - $133,901 per annum
Clinical Nurse Consultant
The Clinical Nurse Consultant is a Registered Nurse who is recognised as an advanced level practitioner with expertise in translating skills, knowledge and evidence into nursing capability.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant – Acute Care Team (ACT) conducts triage, Mental Health assessment, short term treatment and recovery support to consumers accessing health services for acute Mental Health issues at any entry point to the Mental Health service of West Moreton Health Service.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant also collaborates with others to provide clinical leadership by offering advice on assessment, treatment options and risk management as required.
NG7 - $132,562 – $143,924 per annum
