Job Title: Senior Mental Health Professional – Children and Youth
Location: Alice Springs, NT – 3-6 month contract
Pay Rate: $55-60ph + Super
Hours: 36.75hrs pw
- Experienced Mental Health clinician experienced with delivering services within a multidisciplinary team with an emphasis on Child & Youth care
- Managing complex and mixed caseloads with assessment, clinical and case management experience
- Support the community, including development of new service models in response to DoH and National Mental Health reforms
- Contribute to research and undertake quality evaluation at program or professional network level
- Maintain high standards in report writing, electronic record keeping, and file maintenance and quality assurance in service delivery
- Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces
Application Criteria
- Recognized Degree (Post Graduate Preferable)
- Social Workers, Psychologists, Nurses and Mental Health OT’s encouraged to apply
- Recent experience working with children and youth
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrate the ability to write detailed reports and clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Experience in Crisis Prevention and intervention
- Proven ability of working in a multi-disciplinary team
- NT Driving license or ability to apply prior to start
- Competent IT skills
