Mental Health Nurse (Community Services)

Brightside Recruitment is currently working with a leading Mental Health not for profit organisation that supports vulnerable people all over Australia by improving their standard of living.

Role

We are looking for a Mental Health Nurse to be part of multidisciplinary team providing face-to-face counselling, case management and other Mental Health support services to the community. 

Tasks include:

• Applying evidence-based interventions to groups such as: children & young people, family therapy, adults, older people, people struggling with addiction and those experiencing family or relationship domestic violence.
• Case management
• Working with external stakeholders
• Conducting evaluation and reporting

You will be able to access a range of support services in the program for your consumers as well as having guidance from a clinical lead. 

Selection Criteria
In order to be selected for this role you will require

• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing
• Registration with APHRA
• Experience in therapeutic interventions
• Practical experience working in the community Mental Health sector
• Mental Health Accreditation in Nursing (Preferred)
