We are committed to our vision of 'better health services for the people of western Sydney and beyond' and to the delivery of health care or related services in line with our core values of collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.What you'll be doingThe Manager of Mental Health Education and Professional Development provides a leadership role in developing, implementing and evaluating Mental Health Education programmes; the management, coordination and monitoring framework embedding for patient centred care delivery and improving systems and processes within the WSLHD Mental Health service. This position is part of the Mental Health Education team, performing a supporting role to the Director of Nursing in Mental Health in relation to workforce development, Education and training. The incumbent of this position acts as a Mental Health Education representative within and external to WSLHD Mental Health.Benefits of working for Western Sydney Local Health District

- Registration: Registered Nurse( Division 1) with current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated ability to implement Health Education and training strategies with understanding of Ministry of Health guidelines in relation to health, Education and training issues and priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of Education and learning programs for a range of delivery modes (i.e. face to face, online and self-paced) to meet identified organisational need at strategic and operational levels.
- High level consultation, facilitation, and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and build effective relationships across all management and staff levels.
- Demonstrated experience in staff management, performance and managing competing demands.
- Proficient use of computer literacy that support the role.
