Total Support Services is a national NDIS provider. We have recently expanded into management of serious workplace injury and are seeking to recruit a Mental Health Social Worker.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a new Mental Health Social work role directed at seriously injured workers and NDIS Positive Behaviour Support. If you are not already registered as a Positive Behaviour Support practitioner, we can support you to get your registration.
As part of our South Australian team based in Eastwood, you will help make a positive impact on someone's life every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
● Support workers with serious workplace injury
● Support NDIS participants with complex behavioural needs
● Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop and support individualised strategies Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and respond effectively to changes
ABOUT YOU
● Demonstrated experience in a Mental Health Social work role.
● Tertiary studies in social work.
● Eligibility for AASW registration
● AASW Accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker.
● Excellent understanding of serious workplace Mental Health injuries, with experience working in workers compensation, and/or personal injury industries.
● Experience with the NDIS.
● Strong complex case management capabilities with focus on return to work, Mental Health and medically complex cases.
● Confidence in using Microsoft Office Suite.
● Full Australian work rights.
● First aid certificate, Working with Child and Police checks, and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain these.
