The Role:
An amazing opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Team Leader at the Immigration Detention Centres around Australia. This is a special opportunity for a candidate looking to take on a dynamic and active leadership position in a team that has direct impact on the care of individuals.
- The Mental Health Team Leader will work under the leadership of the site based Health Services Managers in our immigration detention centres and also provide clinical services to these people residing in immigration detention facilities.
- Identify and assess at risk persons in detention
- Act as the single point of referral to Mental Health Team
- Provide at risk persons in detention with appropriate and timely management of their mental health needs
- Ensure high standards of mental health practice are met
- Provide advice and education to the mental health team as necessary or as requested
- Provide clinical reports to appropriate internal and external stakeholders
