- It is the purpose of this role to deliver high quality, evidence based Mental Health services as a member of the multidisciplinary Mental Health team to consumers (and their carers) of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service Acute Response Team (CYMHS-ART) who experience a Mental Health crisis.
- Care is delivered with a focus on consumer and carer needs. This is achieved through comprehensive clinical assessment, consumer education, formulation, brief therapeutic intervention and/or management and assistance with discharge planning within a multidisciplinary context. The above interventions are delivered within Recovery Oriented, Developmental, Systemic, Attachment, Trauma Informed and Sociocultural frameworks.
