Position Title: Mental Health Worker
Classification: Mental Health Worker/ Clinician
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time Fixed Term Contract until 30th June 2026
Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026

Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024

Role description
The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for the provision of Mental Health services and/ or AOD counselling, including assessment, counselling and evaluation as needed in the acute, residential, and community settings across Inglewood and Districts Health Service and surrounds. The role will provide services across a number of different program funding streams and programs making this a diverse and exciting role.
About you
- Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Counselling
- Registration with Professional Regulatory Body or relevant Professional Association.For example, AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA.
- Experience working with clients/patients/consumers across all ages
- A well-developed knowledge of evidence based clinical interventions for clients with Mental Health and/or drug and alcohol issues
- Current Victorian drivers' licence
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork and lifelong learning.
