We are looking for an individual with an allocation or assistant buying background, that will be responsible for maximising stock levels across our company stores. Ensuring that our company stores have the capacity to achieve their sales potential.
Your responsibilities and tasks as the Merchandise Allocator will require you to:
- Run company store replenishment for Merchandise (and some books)
- Work with company Store Managers on their stock levels, gaps in range, seasonal product and stock trade opportunities.
- Running all reporting and analysis on store sales and go forward forecasting.
- Setting up and reviewing min/max set ups for allocations of core stock.
- Monitoring and balancing store inventory levels
- Assisting stores in running reporting for returns.
- Supporting the buying team with ad hoc tasks.
Qualities and skills of the successful applicant include:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an allocation role in retail
- Previous experience working in a retail store
- Moderate Excel skillset
- Financial acumen
- Great level of attention to details
- Good with numbers and systems
