We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Merchandise Coordinatorto join our Sydney office.
The ideal candidate will be someone who understanding consumer trends and strategically positioning products within the store to drive sales, and most importantly, has a positive, can-do attitude.
About the role
Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Allocating products from our overseas Distribution Centre to our ANZ warehouse.
- Provide crucial support to the Merchandising Team by monitoring deliveries and maintaining stock levels.
- Analyse merchandise performance to maximise sales potential.
- Allocate stock effectively across retail stores to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Monitor deliveries and stock levels in warehouses and retail stores.
- Maintain product and store grading in line with agreed parameters.
- Effective liaison across all areas of the business.
- Ensure the rationality and timeliness of new product allocation in the channel, handle weekly store replenishment needs reasonably, avoid out-of-stock situations for best-selling items, and ensure healthy inventory turnover in stores.
- Analyse store and warehouse inventory and monitor quarterly stocktake data, promptly handling inventory adjustments as necessary.
- Manage logistics coordination, regularly adjust warehouse inventory, maintain balance between warehouse stocks, and control the cost ratio of new retail logistics.
- Regularly complete sales analysis reports for related products and be familiar with the sales and inventory status of store products.
- Assistance raising purchase orders when required.
- Supporting the merchandise team with administrative needs.
About you:
- Background and experience in retail and merchandising is essential.
- Passion for the toy and culture industry, with a keen eye for market trends and consumer preferences.
- Analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data and present results in a simple manner
- Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
- Able to perform under pressure, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadline.
- Innovative thinking in looking for new ways to address problems in the face of a constantly changing environment.
- Problem solving skills in making decisions & recommendations to maximise sales, margin & inventory productivity.
- Trend & Market Analysis skills in understanding customer patterns and trends (in-season and post-season) through data analysis & interpretation of market & product lifecycle observations.
- Knowledgeable in merchandise management, familiar with offline sales rhythms, and has a basic understanding of vending machine merchandise operations
- Possesses basic skills in offline merchandise lifecycle management and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Fluency in Mandarin is highly advantageous.
