Form of workAssist the Finance Coordinator as required in the following:
Accounts Receivable
- Assist the Finance Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate processing of cash receipting, credit card processing and banking in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in preparing and issuing customer invoices and statements
- Follow up of aged debtors directly with customers and answering queries
Accounts Payable
- Assist the Finance Coordinator in providing support by responding to and resolving creditors' enquiries in an accurate, courteous, confidential and timely manner
- Assist with timely and accurate document matching, coding, data entry and processing of creditor invoices to achieve accurate financial accounts.
Operational Support
- Assist external Auditor during annual audit, if required.
- Assist with general administration functions including records management, filing and data entry.
- Participate in operational and ad-hoc projects as required.
- Assist with end of month reporting and other duties as requested by the Finance Coordinator.
- Support for fundraising, database, ADCSA events, day to day open and closing, other administration tasks as required.
Merchandise
- Assist the Finance Coordinator in the delivery of merchandise to customers.
- Assist the Finance Coordinator in undertaking stocktaking of merchandise.
- Assist the Finance Coordinator manage the receipt and fulfilling of Shopify orders with the picking and packing of orders to customers.
- Manual reconciliation of the Shopify clearing account
Essential Experience
- A knowledge of accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciliations
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office Suite
- Process oriented, attention to detail and good customer service
- Excellent communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with the Stakeholders..
Desirable Experience
- Have an accounting degree or certificate
- Experience with XERO accounting system and Shopify eCommerce program..
