Bruze Custom Trucks are an Aftermarket Accessories company which design, manufacture, and install a broad range of items from our workshop in Wingfield SA and freight Australia wide.
BCT Provide New Vehicle Fit out Services to Both new and used Heavy Transport Vehicles , including extensive custom cosmetic work as well as custom Interior fit out to customer specifications, in addition to Ute tray and Canopy fabrications
BCT have a fully equipped workshop, including in house laser cutting and folding as well as upcoming in-house laser welding.
Due to an increasing workload and company expansion, we are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team working on a variety of metalwork projects. Due to growth in the company, we are seeking people to fill several positions within our team.
The Role
- In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your skills to an exciting and diverse range of projects and areas. Trade Certificate Engineering Tradesperson (Fabrication) or (Welder)
- Experience in MIG and TIG welding;
- Experience in welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium;
- Able to follow instruction and read/understand general assembly and isometric drawings;
- Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously as required;
- Takes pride in their work;
- Understands the importance of quality and the avoidance of rework;
- Must be polite, courteous and respectful of others, be punctual in attendance, and comply with all company policies;
- Must have a good attitude to safety and comply with all workshop safety requirements
About You
- Experience in a metal work and fabrication environment
- An ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Assisting with quality control to identify non-conformances from a manufacturing standpoint.
- Resolving issues that occur before or during the manufacturing cycle and recommending changes.
- Willingness to share your craft and develop others.
- “Can do” attitude and personable disposition.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Experience in a metal fabrication environment
- Current Drivers License
- Genuine Interest in the field
Salary: Above Award wages negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Overtime available.
Start date: Available immediately or negotiable.
