The Role:
Service Stream's Utilities Division is seeking several Meter Technicians to join the team on a subcontractor basis to help grow our digital meter installation program. The successful candidates will cover the Whyalla area.
What you’ll do:
- Complete digital meter exchanges / installations at residential and commercial properties
- Investigate and rectify meter communications faults
- Analyse each installation and implement the best technical solution
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with OH&S policies and procedures of the company and relevant state and national legislation
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Attend and contribute to monthly Toolbox meetings
- Collaborate with team members to share technical and safety information, and provide input to process improvement
What you need:
- Pty Ltd company and relevant insurances
- Full Electrical Licence and valid Driver’s Licence
- UEENEEG171A - Install, set up and commission interval metering (training available)
- UETTDRRF11A - Testing of connections to low voltage electricity networks (training available)
- Construction Industry Safety Induction Card (White Card)
- Current LVR & CPR qualification
- Current First Aid certificate
- Own tools of trade and suitable vehicle
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
